Your questions, answered
What is Globally Sauced?
Globally Sauced caters to travellers with dietary restrictions providing travel advice and planning guides as well as our AI powered, live search backed tools. These tools provide personalised country guides, dining recommendations and dining and itinerary recommendations tailored to travellers with food restrictions.
What type of restrictions does Globally Sauced accommodate?
Anyone with dietary restrictions, whether that is an allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, religious reasons, ethical preferences, or lifestyle choices. So if you have allergies or are gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, coeliac, vegetarian, plant based, vegan, kosher, halal, diabetic, keto, carnivore or have other dietary needs you can benefit from our tools.
Does this work for multiple dietary restrictions or a family or group?
Absolutely! This is the niche we really want to help. Whether you have multiple dietary restrictions personally or you are travelling in a group with diverse requirements we can help.
What makes us different?
While general AI tools can answer questions, many don’t have live search capabilities, or if they do you can’t reliably trigger it. Globally Sauced is purpose-built just for food-restricted travellers not general tourists using live, verified results from Google and Google Maps. We have purpose built steps in our tools to guide travellers like you through the planning process so you can eat and explore with confidence, no matter your dietary needs or IT skills.
How do your tools work?
When you answer the initial questions each tool will ask, as a minimum; What are your restrictions? Where are you going? We use AI models and live, real time search to analyse your dietary needs / preferences, destination and interests to provide you with curated advice and recommendations which depending on the tool might include; dining and activity recommendations, translated content for a dietary restriction card, additional websites for further research as well as packaged food advice and snack suggestions.
Does this only show certified halal restaurants?
We highlight certified options where possible and flag Muslim-friendly or suitable substitutes
What about hidden haram ingredients?
We highlight certified options where possible and flag Muslim-friendly or suitable substitutes
Does it help during Ramadan?
Yes, you can find iftar spots, early breakfast options, and prayer-friendly stops during Ramadan by chatting back to our assistant.
Where is Globally Sauced available
It’s in the name, anywhere you are. We provide recommendations for users wherever your based, and naturally you can chat to our AI in any language (it can be a little slower if its not English though). However, in areas where the available options are more limited for example rural areas which cannot easily accommodate your restrictions our information may vary. After all we can only help you if there are already suitable meal options available.
Can I use this at home too?
Absolutely, it works for lunch breaks, staycations, road trips, or international adventures.
Where are you based?
We’re kiwis and are based in Tāmaki makaurau, Aotearoa (Auckland, New Zealand)
Can I customise my restrictions after signing up?
Yes, we don’t retain any information about your preferences so you can change your preferences as required.
How accurate are the recommendations?
Our tools are built to provide accurate suggestions and the information is validated with search results using Google and Google Maps. However, it can get it wrong and places do change their menus or go out of business. We recommend users check the output and communicate with restaurants to ensure you are comfortable eating there.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your subscription at any time without incurring additional fees. Simply navigate to the cancellation section in your account settings.
Do you offer customer support?
Yes, of course we are happy to assist you with any questions or concerns. You can reach us via our contact us page or via DM from our social media accounts.
